Great weekend at RollPlay and Adelphia ...

It's Tuesday and I am still feeling beat up from the weekend.

Friday night I was at Blue Martini in Atlantic City ... The weather was really crappy, and the crowd was a little light because of it I think. Still had a good night. At one point 5 girls in halloween costumes ran into the club and went straight for the dancefloor. There was a kabuki girl, a horse, Uncle Sam ... and I forget the other two. It was fun to see though. lol. The crowd stayed until about 1:30 and then it started to thin out.

Saturday night was my first night at RollPlay Lounge. Very nice spot, very cool staff. I was doing their 80's party there, which was fun. Got to play some 80s classics that I don't normally get a chance to play.

I will be back there on November 14th for the Philly Friction party. Should be a good night that night. ;-0

Sunday I went to Adelphia (in my manager role for Jonelle ... I didn't DJ). It was Tazmania Records CD release party for the OVERLOADED CD. Great night, lots of people came out. JONELLE and her dancers rocked it. I will have video posted as soon as I get it back.

I wasn't scheduled to work at the show, but somehow I wound up being an MC for the night. lol. Always seems to happen to me.

This week, I took a few days off from DJing (not working Friday or Saturday nights), and starting this Sunday, I will be back at theRidge in Atlantic City from 2pm-8pm.

OK, so the party is a few weeks away and I have some more information about the place, and the night.

Alot of people that I have been talking to about it are a bit hesitant because it's a "couples lounge". Let me just tell you, I kind of thought the same thing. But, having been there ... all I can say is that it's a really nice place and it's NOT what people stereotypically think of when you say "couples club".

The main lounge area (downstairs) is like any other upscale lounge. The decor is nice, the staff is hot, and it's a party like any other club would be.

For those that want to go further and do more, well, that's what the side rooms and the VIP room are for.

At this place, YOU really set the limits on how far it goes. And if you are just looking to party and have a great night out, you will get that in the lounge area. Very rarely do "things" happen in the lounge area.

For October 17th, the promoter is extending a special to those on my list. Normally it's $100 per couple to get in to RP Lounge (single ladies are free before midnight, and $25 after). Couples on my list will get in for $50 per couple.

Also -- and this is a big one -- this place is BYOB (bring your own bottle). You bring in your bottle, and the bar staff there at RollPlay Lounge supply the glasses, mixers, etc.
